The consequent implementation of double-wards with a looped corridor system and shared treatment care areas allows for clear provision of the individual nursing stations without crossing patient/pbulic/staff zones. Patient rooms, common rooms and the lounge are easily visible from the base.
The main entrance on level 5 is the determing factor for the arrangment of the functional areas. The open courtyards to the south, facing to the patient gardens, provide communi- cative common areas with access to the combined outpatient areas.
