The construction of the adult psychiatry sees itself as a solitaire. Half-open and open housing groups create common living space in its centre. The patient's awareness of being locked-in is removed and helps them to socialise.
The common kitchen, the nursing base and the roof lights are used to articulate the spatial awarness. Two wards on each level can be combined or act separatly. A quiet area for physicians is located towards the courtyard. The visitor's room is located directly near the entance/staircase.
