Project "Jakobschule"
The built environment shapes people and influences their well-being.
Each year, at Jacob School's own building, pupils aged 10-11, are asked to analyse and document the architecture and the design of their own school.
The project aims to make pupil 'see' and get encouraged in order to train their eyes to the proximate environment, such as their way to school.
The Jacob School is a Grade II listed building form the Dutch Renaissance, built in 1884 - 1886 by the master-builder Adolf Wolff.
