The new Hospital is situated within the typical North German landscape of patchwork fields and hedges. Patients arrive directly at the admissions desk of the ‘elective center’ and are directed to the diagnostic departments accordingly. Visitors, alike are led across or via the ward support to the patient rooms.

The accident + emergency entrance on the eastern side of the Clinical Center faces the main-entrance. The helipad is directly linked with all floors. The delivery and disposal are remote from the main-entrance at the north-east side.
