From the former pavilion of the municipal hospital, a heterogeneous structure with compact large buildings has developed over the years through replacement new buildings, promoted by a process-optimized hospital drainage and the knowledge of hygiene at the time. The new, large entrance area gives the entire clinic its identity. This is flanked by the new buildings. The relationship between the historical origins of the hospital and the modern clinical center of today creates the axis to the renovated Y-building.
