Holzhausenschool, Frankfurt
It is time to rethink the traditional floorplan for schools. For listed school buildings however, this is only limited managable. The cubic expansion for the proposed design has a lively and flexible interior, which responds to the diverse needs for todays children while meeting the educational work demands: Especially with the advent of modern media tools, the communication amoung students has to be encouraged and made easily possible. An open floorplan with 'clusters' and without the traditional classroom contributes to new learning environments.
