The new buildings represent themselves as separate units on the Westend Campus and is home to the discipline of educational sciences, social sciences, human geography and psychology. The different lengths of both buildings emphasise their independence within the campus. The perimeter block occupies representatively and unpretentiously the northern part of the site.

Inside the buildings, a large courtyard opens up. Here, a maximum of natural light and views are provided for the big library and all faculty office desks.
