The generation house consists of a nursing home for long-term and short-term care and assisted living care for 105 people. It is located in close proximity to the apartments for the elderly. The generation living and the general living have a separate entrances and a level access, throughout.

The offset and glazed buildings optically articulate the complex into individual parts. A cafe terrace invites people to have a rest next to the streams of the river Aach.
