Deaconess Hospital, Leipzig
The existing hospital complex continues with new buildings in the north while it is gradually being replaced. The hopital complex acknowledges the residential buildings opposite, by refering to appropriate spacing and building heights.
Internal flows are organised separately for patient/public/staff zones. The facade with white plaster and generous glazing allows for transparancy and privacy and provides orientation inside the premises and views into the patient gardens.
