The integration of two hospitals gives rise to a single building, which connects to the main hospital street of the Marienkrankenhaus.

The circular organisation of the floor plan allows for easy orientation of the nursing stations and the combination of two self-contained wards on one floor.

The floors were designed with colour-themes of Antarctica, deserts and forests. The new building has become the showpiece of the complete hospital.
