An appropriate framework for a clinical centre of excellence for maximum care is provided with the construction of the Children's Hospital of the UKK in the south-eastern area of the Eppendorf University Hospital campus.
The new Hospital provides a maximum of functional departments for a process-driven hospital and is characterised by an open and child-friendly atmosphere. The urban design wins over its simplicity: the 2-3 storey new pavilion buildings form a natural sequence to the existing hospital infrastructure.
