By creating a large urban form, the BMFZ becomes the dominant form on the campus. Hence, valuable defined and well-proportioned external spaces are created. The 6 Research Institutes of the BMFZ are directly accessible via the entrance hall.
This hall is home to all common areas such as cafe, conference centre, photo and graphic labs and the central library. On the basis of a flexible floorplan design, the laboratory and faculty areas offer communication zones along the triangualar shaped circulation areas.
